We sometimes come across a point in life where we need to make decisions that can literally change the course of our life….well, there is actually nothing like that. We just make the decision making practice very dramatic because, we know what we want is not everybody else wants us to do. In our minds we are absolutely clear about our choice but the rest of the world sees a different future for us. This sounds vague but is true.
Working is a part of everyones life and earning as much money as possible is the final aim of everybody’s life but this doesnt mean we give up our dreams for it. Happiness can never be proportional to the amount of money you earn or the amount of power you possess.
Always do what u wish to…. The result does not matter all that matters is your happiness. Never make others perception a part of ur thinking about something. We are all unique and we must never forget that…..

Thousands of engineers work really hard in creating marvels like this one. Slogging day in and day out just to make sure everything works just perfectly so that when it is released before the people, everyone’s just dumbstruck by everything this device can possibly do. But there’s one thing thats very important, SALES. The fate of this device is decided by the amount of these the company is able to sell. If the sales are high then even a simple device could become a revolutionary product and if the sales are low, even a revolutionary product will be forgotten in the pages of history.

Well, but does that mean that selling a product is everything??? No, it isn’t. Creating it is. History has witnessed great revolutions and even Benjamin Franklin was told that electricity was a stupid idea, so was Newton when he discovered gravity. It doesn’t matter how many people accept/reject your product. What matters is how great it actually is. Great inventions, discoveries, products or people never get wasted. It might not fetch you a lot of money but it will fetch you a satisfaction that you have quite literally created a some groundbreaking stuff…….

Keep innovating!!!

  • A lot of companies have chosen to downsize, and maybe that was the right thing for them. We chose a different path. Our belief was that if we kept putting great products in front of customers, they would continue to open their wallets.

  • Apple’s market share is bigger than BMW’s or Mercedes’s or Porsche’s in the automotive market. What’s wrong with being BMW or Mercedes?

  • Be a yardstick of quality. Some people aren’t used to an environment where excellence is expected.

  • Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.

  • I think we’re having fun. I think our customers really like our products. And we’re always trying to do better.

  • I want to put a ding in the universe.

  • Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower.

  • It is piracy, not overt online music stores, which is our main competitor.

  • It took us three years to build the NeXT computer. If we’d given customers what they said they wanted, we’d have built a computer they’d have been happy with a year after we spoke to them – not something they’d want now.

  • Pretty much, Apple and Dell are the only ones in this industry making money. They make it by being Wal-Mart. We make it by innovation.

  • Sometimes when you innovate, you make mistakes. It is best to admit them quickly, and get on with improving your other innovations.

  • The people who are doing the work are the moving force behind the Macintosh. My job is to create a space for them, to clear out the rest of the organization and keep it at bay.

  • To turn really interesting ideas and fledgling technologies into a company that can continue to innovate for years, it requires a lot of disciplines.

  • Why join the navy if you can be a pirate?
  • You can’t just ask customers what they want and then try to give that to them. By the time you get it built, they’ll want something new.

Everybody requires having an idol in life. An idol who is perfect in his way of handling situations in life be it good or bad or even sometimes WORSE. An idol guides you to the path of success and motivates you to keep moving even if failures are what you are awarded with. An idol teaches you that being different from the rest of the world is not a crime, its just a way of saying that success is eagerly waiting for you. All you need is the aptitude to search for it and the most important of all, the patience to WAIT for it.

My idol is Steve Jobs. The man who till date has defied all odds of existence and achieved his dreams in style. Co-Founder and CEO of Apple Inc. , Co-Founder of Next Computers, Co-Founder and CEO of Pixar Animation Studios. This man has done it all. His strengths are his keynotes. The confidence that he has on his ideas, his products and off-course the engineers who help bring those products to realty just amazing.

From the iPod to the iPhone he has given the world a remarkable range of revolutionary products. Even if the Mac is used only by a few people in the world, the one who own it are immensely satisfied by it and that’s what his goal is. His presence in the company powers the employees to create something new, something that the company could prefix an ‘i’ to.

I am a great fan of his keynotes and well after having watched a large number of his keynotes I can say that he is a perfectionist in what he does and off-course I dream to become like him.

“Be a yardstick of quality. Some people aren’t used to an environment where excellence is expected”

“Stay hungry, stay foolish”

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
